Iconic Venues! It is wedding Wednesday and we are featuring this dreamy wedding at the Boathouse in Prospect Park, Brooklyn which is one of our most favorite iconic venues. Prospect Park is home to two event venues, an historic carousel, & the bandshell where all summer long BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! programs a dynamic season filled with performing arts! What better venue than Brooklyn’s back yard to host your event! The Boathouse sets the stage for a memorable event, built in 1905 the Beaux Arts style building is a beautiful year round venue overlooking the Lullwater Bridge. Inside, it is the green tiled ceiling that seals the deal for me… I can’t take my eyes off it and the architectural details throughout the space. Wether it is birdwatching for over 250 species spotted on the Atlantic Flyway path, skating under the stars at the Lefrak Center, Smorgasbord food festival, or taking in the Greenmarket, Prospect Park is a do not miss on your next adventure in Brooklyn!
