Revisiting old inspiration and reliving a past trip to a place that I used to call home. At heart I am a New England gal, this has proven true time and again. But, Alaska is deep in my soul.
Sailing, Boat Life, the Ocean, Fishing… it is magical and I love a sea side fishing town more than anything no matter where it is but I am lucky enough to have been born + raised in + around Salem, MA. Spending my youth on and in the waters around New England I didn’t always appreciate what was my everyday life. I find a ton of inspiration looking back at these images and I hope you find some joy. & if you land in Peabody, you MUST go to Land & Sea and order everything! ( & of course take photos and tell me all about it! )
My seaside retreat in Marblehead and Salem, MA would not be complete without a visit to the Peabody Essex Museum. This museum has grown up along with me from a school field trip experience to a place that I have come to treasure…as it is filled with treasures and all kinds of inspiration! This is a world class institution is one you should not miss on your own travels!
