Food For Thought

Building community through food is something that drives our passion for events. Working with non profits to develop experiences that friend and fund raise while bringing community together and creating new connections has been a cornerstone of kQ event development over the years. Working with Red Hook Initiative in Brooklyn we took what started in someone’s living room as a pot luck and developed it into a full scale tasting event with over 50 participating food and beverage vendors catering for over 500 attendees and exceeding fundraising goals year over year. As a trustee with the Park Slope Civic Council kQ worked with a committee that created and developed an annual Food For Thought dining event to support a scholarship program for local youth, a legacy event that continues to this day. Experiences drive the concept development and planning when creating tasting events. Onsite activations to showcase sponsors, silent and live auction opportunities to increase revenue at the event along with mobile museum style pop ups to drive the message of the mission and accomplishments to guests fueling their mind, body and soul while having the time of their life!

A MASSIVE thank you to all of the restauranteurs, staff, food purveyors and others who contributed countless hours, product and their passion for building sustainable communities through collaboration over the years. I have had the privilege and honor of working with the most incredible hospitality community, chefs and mixologists over the years. Thank you for inspiring and sharing your passions.

Planning and production services have included securing restaurant partners, working with sponsors, developing the guest experience, silent + live auction opportunities, program development, run of show, stage and talent management, and onsite activations including celebrity chef collabs, live entertainment and after party coordination.

Looking forward to the next opportunity to produce a food centric experience!
